Choose to attend in person or online
While in-person attendees are onsite in Cleveland, virtual attendees will have access to the following:
- Live video and audio feed of all plenary sessions
- Live audio feed of all technical sessions, along with the ability to view presenter slides
All attendees will have access to the following:
- Recorded conference proceedings will be available online for 30 days after SOLE 2022
- Virtual field trip on The State of Lake Erie 4,000 years ago: Geological & archaeological evidence

What type of payments are accepted?
We accept credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) and checks. All checks must be received by the IAGLR Business Office by March 1. Mail (by traceable carrier) to 4840 S. State Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
What about refunds?
You may request a refund by sending an email to [email protected]. No refunds will be issued after March 1, 2022. If we cannot safely gather in person, SOLE 2022 will convert to a virtual-only event.
Exceptions include if you are unable to attend due to a health or family emergency, or If you are unable to travel to Cleveland due to travel restrictions put in place after you registered.
In all circumstances, we encourage paid SOLE registrants who cannot attend unexpectedly to
- transfer your registration to another individual instead of canceling
- modify in-person to virtual-only registration and receive a refund for the rate difference
- allow IAGLR to retain the funds as a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
