Outreach

Outreach is a vital to IAGLR's mission to advance understanding of the world's large lake ecosystems. Through special projects and partnerships, IAGLR works to inform public policy with sound science; increase awareness of the world's large lakes, and connect and showcase large lake researchers through our quarterly Lakes Letter publication. In addition, IAGLR recognizes excellence in outreach through its John R. (Jack) Vallentyne Award.
