On Wednesday, June 20, the IAGLR conference will feature a town hall discussion directed at formulating a program of fundamental and strategic science under the concept of an International Decade of Great Lakes Exploration and Research. This initiative of the International Joint Commission seeks to generate new knowledge and understanding to match our commitment to Great Lakes restoration and ensure the greatest return on investment for lasting social and ecological impact.
