Join us November 20, 1 p.m. EST, for the webinar Making Aquatic Science Spaces More Equitable, Diverse, Inclusive, and Accessible: A Panel Discussion. Most aquatic scientists—from students to senior-level managers—have learned about the value of equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA), but what does that actually look like in practice? This webinar brings together a diverse panel of aquatic scientists to share their positionalities and strategies for actionable EDIA in their studies and/or work life. The goal of the webinar is to facilitate knowledge exchange between panelist members and the audience, so that all participants gain new insights on achieving effective EDIA outcomes. Co-hosted by IAGLR and the Society of Canadian Aquatic Sciences.
