ELLS-IAGLR2018 registration, call for abstracts open through July 15; dreissenids expertise sought

You still can register and submit your contribution for the 5th European Large Lakes Symposium & IAGLR International Meeting, scheduled for September 23-28, 2018, in Evian, France. Please note that the number of seats is limited. 

Conference organizers especially welcome contributions about quagga mussels (Dreissena bugensis). The mussels were recently discovered in Lake Geneva, a great lake shared by France and Switzerland. Do you have experience from the Laurentian Great Lakes that can inform this new invasion? If you can address how to cope with this invasive species, its ecology, and its impacts on lake function and biological communities, consider sharing your experience.

In addition, conference attendees can attend a free FlowCam Workshop to learn about sample preparation, data acquisition and process strategies.
