All speakers, session chairs, presenters, and other attendees must register for the conference. The cost to submit an abstract is a separate fee and is not applied to registration.

What type of payments are accepted?

We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Can I send a substitute or cancel my registration if I can’t attend?

We understand that occasionally unforeseeable responsibilities and personal obligations may prevent you from attending the conference. If you find yourself in this situation you may:

  • Send a substitute. No charge, at any time *
  • Attend virtually. Conference presentations will be available during and after the dates of the meeting.

Paid in-person registrants may request a partial refund—up to 50% of the rate difference between in person and virtual through April 17. Note that refunds will be issued to the credit card used for the initial transaction and an additional $100 processing fee will apply. No refunds will be issued to virtual registrants.

* Please notify conference management, in writing (email) for all substitution requests and any registration adjustments.

I paid an abstract submission fee. Does that count toward registration?

Abstract fees are separate from registration. Costs for registration are in the table above.

International Travelers

It is your responsibility to determine if you need a visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization to travel to the conference. Please review the entry requirements to visit Canada. If you require a letter of invitation to support your visa application, please contact our conference coordinator at bellis@iaglr.org.

For Media

Complimentary media registration is available. if you cover aquatic science but can't attend in person, consider registering to watch online and gain access to the video archive after the conference.

Code of Conduct

We are committed to hosting a friendly, welcoming conference for all attendees. All participants and exhibitors must agree to the 2026 Conference Code of Conduct when registering.
