Jada Langston was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. They received their undergraduate degree at Hamilton College, with majors in geoscience and archaeology. They are currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Michigan, studying past hydrological change on Lake Erie and exploring the potential for using the isotopic composition of waters to provide additional constraints on evaporative fluxes from the Great Lakes.
