The IDEA+ Workshop Award aims to broaden participation in IAGLR by welcoming and involving people from historically marginalized communities. Requests may be made by those would like to host a workshop at the annual Conference on Great Lakes Research.
The IAGLR Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility+ (IDEA+) Workshop Award is designed to broaden participation in IAGLR by welcoming and involving people from historically marginalized communities. Specifically, this award supports workshop hosts who add to the diversity of perspectives shared at the IAGLR annual conference from the interface of large lake science, management, education, communication, policy, and community.

The IDEA+ Workshop Award will be awarded with the recipient’s prior understanding and acknowledgement that they will host a workshop that reflects the spirit of this award at IAGLR's annual Conference on Great Lakes Research.
