IAGLR International Travel Award

Application Deadline: February 10

IAGLR confers one or two awards (based on availability of funds) to provide travel support for a master's or Ph.D. student, or a post-doctoral fellow from countries outside of the United States or Canada to attend IAGLR's annual Conference on Great Lakes Research.

Applicant Eligibility:

  1. Must be a member of IAGLR.
  2. Be registered as a student (master's or Ph.D.) or affiliated as a post-doctoral fellow at a “recognized” postsecondary, educational institution located outside of the USA and Canada.
  3. Must demonstrate that the focus of their research is on large lakes outside of the USA or Canada.

Applications will be evaluated on the basis of scientific merit, originality, and contribution to the understanding of large lakes. In addition, financial need of the applicant will also be considered.  View the Application Regulations.
