Paris Collingsworth currently hold positions as a Great Lakes ecosystem specialist for Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant (IISG) and an assistant research professor at Purdue in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources. Prior to working for IISG and Purdue, he earned a doctorate from Ohio State University and was a postdoctoral fellow with the USGS Great Lakes Science Center in Ann Arbor. Collingsworth's research program focuses on ecosystem and food web dynamics in the Great Lakes using ecological and statistical models as tools to develop a mechanistic understanding about how anthropogenic and natural stressors impact ecosystem structure and function.
