Call for Presenters & Associated Events

We invite you to participate in the State of Lake Ontario Conference, March 1–3, 2021, in downtown Toronto. We welcome submissions for oral and poster presentations, field trips, workshops, and associated meetings.
Oral and Poster Presentations
Oral and poster presentations will be scheduled for Monday, March 1, and Tuesday, March 2. We encourage authors to submit abstracts for specific sessions, but also will consider general contributions. All abstracts must be submitted online. A nonrefundable $50 abstract fee will be charged. One oral presentation per primary/presenting author will be enforced.
Abstract Content
Abstracts should describe results and the relevance of the presentation topic, clearly addressing the implications of the topic for others in attendance, and for advancing knowledge or the effectiveness of science and policy.
Please write your abstract for a general audience and note the following character limits:
- Title: 100 characters
- Abstract body: 300 words
Associated Events
Time will be reserved during the conference for associated events. Field trips will be scheduled on Wednesday, March 3. Workshops could be technical in nature, focus on skill building, or be interactive discussions on specific topics. We also welcome associated meetings of Lake Ontario organizations or Great Lakes regional planning teams (e.g., CSMI, Lakewide Management Planning).
