Here you'll find everything you need to know about submitting an abstract for the 2019 State of Lake Huron conference. The submission deadline has been extended through July 3, 2019.


Call for Abstracts

We invite you to participate in the 2019 State of Lake Huron Conference, Oct. 8-11, 2019, on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan.

We welcome abstract submissions for both oral and poster presentations. We encourage authors to submit abstracts for specific sessions, but also will consider general contributions. If you are uncertain about the most suitable session for your paper, please contact the session chairs. All abstracts must be submitted online. One oral presentation per primary/presenting author will be enforced.

Abstract Content

Abstracts should describe results and the relevance of the presentation topic, clearly addressing the implications of the topic for others in attendance, and for advancing knowledge or the effectiveness of science and policy.

Please write your abstract for a general audience and note the following character limits:

  • Title: 100 characters
  • Abstract body: 1,000 characters
