Scientists compose the vast majority of IAGLR members, and their work is showcased in the Journal of Great Lakes Research and at the annual IAGLR Conference on Great Lakes Research. We annually recognize outstanding achievements of scientists who conduct large lakes research by presenting several awards at our conference. We also facilitate professional development of scientists interested in large lakes research by maintaining a comprehensive list of relevant employment opportunities as well as providing important news and upcoming events of note.
