Sea lampreys fear the smell of death

A repellant for sea lampreys could be the key to better controlling one of the most destructive invasive species in the North American Great Lakes. Michigan State University researcher, Dr. Michael Wagner, recently published results of a study that used alarm odors to alter sea lamprey behavior.
