IAGLR Announces Best Student Paper and Poster from 2010 Conference

Each year, the best student presentation given at the annual meeting are honored by awards sponsored by IAGLR and Hydrolab/Hach Corp. for best paper and best poster. The winners based on the 2010 conference are Fiona Wong (University of Toronto) for her talk entitled, "Effect of Aging on the Volatility and Degradation of Brominated Flame Retardants and Organochlorine Pesticides in an Urban Soil from Toronto, Ontario," and also Jeremy Sullivan (SUNY-College of Environmental Science and Forestry) for his poster entitled, "Potential Discrimination of Phytoplankton Genera on the Basis of Their Pigment Fingerprints."
