An unconventional list of chemicals is quickly becoming a concern for Great Lakes water quality. Several chemicals are being introduced to the environment at increasing rates by passing through the sewage treatment process. These chemicals may propose health concerns for humans, and interupt important biological processes in the environment.
The International Association for Great Lakes Research is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
