Abstract

Detroit schools found out that they have lead problems in drinking water. Of course, this is a problem for all Great Lakesw Water Authority drinking water users. The only solution is carbon filtration at the plant and / or at the faucet, while the former mtght be sufficient. There is a lack of enforceable regulations, but there is enough medical evidence  to eliminate lead from drinking water.
