Abstract
In 2017, the team behind the Great Lakes Aquatic Non-indigenous Species Information System (GLANSIS) renovated their website, and also added a new web application called the Map Explorer. This new interface allows users to display known non-indigenous, invasive species' distributions across an interactive map. This poster will highlight the web application's features, which include the ability to display the spatial distributions of up to three non-indigenous species (via the United States Geological Survey's Non-indigenous Aquatic Species, or USGS-NAS database), overlay species data on top of map layers from the Great Lakes Aquatic Habitat Framework (GLAHF), and copy comma and tab delimited data to a local file for other analyses to be performed.
