Conference FAQ
This FAQ contains general questions about IAGLR's annual conference. For details about a specific conference, please visit our conference page and related links.
Where and when is the next IAGLR annual conference?
Please see our list of conference sites. Upcoming locations will be posted when confirmed.
How do I register for the conference?
Online registration is available through our website beginning several months prior to the conference.
How can I be involved in organizing an annual conference?
Each annual conference is organized by a local Site Conference Committee under the auspices of the conference Committee and the Board of Directors. Each year, the board considers proposals from host institutions based on the following criteria: proposed scientific program and workshops, conference facilities and logistics, and location. The conference site alternates between Canada and the United States. If you are interested in hosting a conference and serving as a Site Conference Chair, contact the Conference Committee Chair, for more information.
How do I submit an abstract?
During the call for abstracts period, abstracts should be submitted electronically via our website.
It is significantly past the deadline for abstract submittal. Can I still submit my abstract?
Permission for late abstract submittal must be obtained from the Site Conference Chair and the organizer of the intended session. If your abstact is accepted, fixed deadlines for proceedings publication may prevent your abstract from appearing in the printed program.
