53rd Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research

May 17-21, 2010

Toronto, Ontario

The 53rd International Conference on Great Lakes Research will explore how far research science in the Great Lakes and large lakes around the world has come over the decades, highlighting the science and policy research that has helped to improve and protect some aspects of the Great Lakes.

Today's challenges and tomorrow's solutions are rooted in this history as many of yesterday's problems continue or have resurfaced today. Science and policy research presented in the areas of ecology, limnology, habitat, fisheries, invasive species, contaminants, climate impacts, watershed interactions, water quality and quantity will become part of the solutions for the future!
